Healthy decisions make for healthy conditions Published April 9, 2013 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Michelle Lafarga, APET fundraising lead, informs a student from the Child Development Center about the various ways to keep their household and their pet healthy during a National Public Health Week event held at the Edwards Community Park April 3, 2013. The event was hosted by the 412th Medical Support Squadron and was used as opportunity to teach kids the importance of public health in the community and home. Since 1995, the first full week of April has been declared National Public Health Week.
