AtHoc info needs to be updated to stay alert, alive

Team Edwards members are urged to ensure that their AtHoc personal information is updated on their workstations.

AtHoc is a mass alerting system used to provide Air Force Materiel Command units and their base populace with essential emergency notifications in a rapid and reliable fashion.

In accordance with local recall and instruction plans, all AFMC personnel and all personnel assigned to AFMC installations will ensure personal contact information is updated.

Right click on the purple AtHoc globe located at the bottom right on your computer screen in the task bar.

If the icon is not there you can click on the arrow to reveal the program icons and select the purple AtHoc globe. (If there is no AtHoc globe present, call the 412th Communications Squadron helpdesk at (661) 277-3444 to have it installed on your workstation.)

AtHoc contains three tabs: My Info; My Device Info; and Base Specific.

  • Select "Access Self-Service"
  • Select "My Info," "My Device Info," and "Base Specific Info" tabs in successive order
  • Update all fields as indicated with a red arrow (16 total)
  • Click Save on each tab
Items marked with an asterisk (*) in the My Info and Base Specific tabs are mandatory for all active duty members. Items marked "Mandatory" on the My Device tab are also mandatory active duty.

Active duty members may opt-out of providing non-mandatory information only.

Civilians may opt out of providing mandatory information by entering "N/A" in the applicable text block.

Call Priority is as follows:

1. Phone - Emergency

2. Work

3. Mobile

4. Home

Text messages, emails, and desktop pop-up alerts will all transmit simultaneously.
