9th OSS Trains Aircraft Take-off, Landing on Rogers Lake Published July 5, 2024 By 412th Test Wing Public Affairs 412th Test Wing EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Airmen from the 9th Operations Support Squadron from Beale Air Force Base trains air traffic operations in a forward-deployed location with two Cessna airplanes from the Edwards Aero Club on Rodgers Dry Lake at Edwards AFB, California, June 6. Rogers Dry Lake continues to be used by Edwards AFB to provide training opportunities in austere environments and as an emergency landing site for both air and spacecraft.
