Three new self service markets now open to base personnel

Col. Ahave Brown, 412th Maintenance Group commander, joins AAFES as they officially open a Self Service Market inside Building 1600 on Edwards Air Force Base, California, today. AAFES also opened two other locations on Edwards: one at the South Base facility and another at the Air Force Test Pilot School. The self service markets are a product of the Vanguard Program which saw a need to provide more food services on base and determined the three key locations.
