October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and the 412 CS Wing Cybersecurity Office is here to help spread awareness of healthy and helpful computer security habits. The intention is to spread information that will not only assist and secure you in your work operations, but in your day-to-day home computer usage as well. Plan of Events: Week 3 (15– 19): Safe Web Habits Week 4 (22-26): Social Media Safety Week 5 (29-31): Finale Presentation at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please join the 412th Communications Squadron during the final week on Oct. 30 for the closing presentation. Without further ado, welcome to Week 3. For most people, a majority of their computer usage is spent surfing the web. You pop open your favorite web browser and check out your social media, video games, news, and more. It is important to be aware of how to secure yourself as you explore the World Wide Web so your valuable information is not compromised.
