412th Test Wing Warrior of the Week Published July 14, 2017 412th Test Wing EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Group: 412th Mission Support Group Member: Senior Airman Jacob Batson Unit: 412th Force Support Squadron Job Title: Personnel Readiness Journeyman Career Goal: First Sergeant. Congratulations Senior Airman Jacob Batson, the 412th Test Wing’s Warrior of the Week. Batson is assigned to the 412th Force Support Squadron, Installation Personnel Readiness, as a Personnel Readiness Journeyman. He co-leads a two man team with planning and executing the installation deployment functions for the wing. Batson expertly oversees all deployment aspects for Airmen by providing initial briefing, coordinating pre-deployment training, processing deployment orders and authenticating travel requests. Additionally, Batson co-manages the wing Air Force Personnel Accountability Assessment System program for the Southern California region, he trains Commanding Officer Representative, Group Control Center, and Unit Control Center members on Total Force Accountability. During his tenure in IPR, his dedication, great attention to detail, and can do attitude, directly contributed to netting zero contingency discrepancies for the last 24 months and winning the Installation Deployment Readiness Cell Team of the First Quarter in 2017.
