As part of Armed Forces Voters Week, the voting assistance office is reminding team Edwards to send in their Federal Post Card Applications on time for the general election in November.

The AFVW's goal is to attain 100 percent contact with voters to ensure the availability of Federal Postcard Applications to all.

A voting information table will be set up outside the Base Exchange from Sept. 2 through 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Absentee ballot applications will be available and unit voting representatives will be present to help servicemembers and their eligible dependents.

People can access more absentee voting process information at the Edwards voting Web site through the Air Force portal.

Voting material including absentee ballots and federal write-in ballots can be picked up at the Military Personnel Flight, the base library, unit or installation voting representatives.
