As a continuing effort to support the military retiree community in the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas, Edwards maintains a Retiree Activities Office in the 95th Air Base Wing headquarters at Building 3000.

The purpose of the Retiree Activities Office is to provide helpful information to retired servicemembers. Although this office is a component of the Air Force Retiree Council and is supported by the 95th ABW, it functions as a liaison between the active-duty units at Edwards and the retiree communities of all branches of the armed forces, including Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine.

The area encompassed by the Edwards Retiree Activities Office, includes Lancaster, California City, Palmdale, Victorville, Ridgecrest, Tehachapi, Bakersfield, Naval Aviation Weapons Center China Lake, Fort Irwin and Marine Corps Logistic Base.

Information concerning Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, Defense Financial and Accounting Services, Tricare, casualty assistance, Space-A travel, Survivors Benefit Plan and Veterans Administration can be found here as well as other useful resources to the retiree.

For more information or assistance with retiree activities or if interested in volunteering with the Retiree Activities Office, call the RAO at 277-4931 or e-mail at 95abw.rao@adwards.af.mil.
