General Eichhorn: Thank you for your service, dedication

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Memorial Day is a time when we gather with friends and family and celebrate the abundant freedoms we enjoy living in America. As you make preparations for this weekend, don't forget those who paid the ultimate price for those freedoms. 

Here at Edwards, we are committed daily to testing and delivering war-winning capabilities to the frontline fighters. Our efforts help ensure military members and DOD civilians across all services don't have to pay that ultimate price. 

I thank you for your service and dedication to the ideals that makes America great!
