EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Truth, justice and the American way all started 233 years ago with "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." 

No country on Earth offers a greater capacity for happiness than the United States and no military base offers a greater opportunity to contribute to the common good than Edwards. You and your Air Force Flight Test Center have helped these last 76 years to keep secure the many blessings this country has to offer while dramatically pushing the frontiers of aviation.

This 4th of July, pursue happiness with some well deserved time off and please finish the holiday with yourself and your loved ones intact.
