'We work hard, we should play hard' - Test Wing Sports Day a smash Published May 4, 2011 By Kate Blais 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Airmen from the 412th Test Wing were treated to blue skies, warm weather and spirited competition during the 412th TW Sports Day, May 2. Activities the airmen could participate in ranged from soccer, basketball and volleyball, to kickball and ultimate Frisbee. Three Commander's Cup events, where trophies were handed out to winners, added a competitive edge to the day. Cup challenges included the 5K run, the Warrior Challenge and the truck pull. "A lot of times we don't recognize what other folks do until we get out there and have a chance to talk with them," said Col. Dawn Dunlop, 412th TW commander. "I would like to give a lot of thanks to the entire [Sports Day] planning team, and the 95th Air Base Wing who supported us with their Security Forces and the Med Group. This was a great opportunity to get out there with a little bit of competition, a lot of fun and a lot of good dialogue."
