EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --
The Golden West Winds, resident woodwind quintet of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, Calif. visited Edwards for a day of holiday caroling, Dec. 14
The group visited the Air Force Research Laboratory for its first concert of the day before traveling to stops on main base including Bldg. 3000, 412th Test Wing Headquarters and the Medical Clinic. The group played for 10 to 15 minutes at each location, encouraging audiences to join in singing throughout the day.
For the final concert of the day, the Golden West Winds performed for the residents and staff of the William J. "Pete" Knight Veterans Home in Lancaster.
