Name:
Brad A. Reeves

Rank: Technical sergeant

Duty Title: Non-commissioned officer in charge, Operations

Hometown: Mulberry, Ark.

When did you join the Air Force? June 1997

Why did you join the Air Force?
I joined the Air Force because I grew up in a small rural town where the potential for me to have a meaningful career was limited. While exploring my options, I realized I could have a great career in the Air Force and serve my country at the same time.

What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy the opportunities I am afforded to mentor future leaders. We have more than 320 people in operations ranging from Airman through master sergeant, and I have the privilege to be part of a first-rate team.

What is your favorite thing to do around the area?
Although there is more to do and see in the local area than I can name, my favorite is taking my family to the various amusement parks and state and federal parks.

Warrior Highlights:
"Since assuming the position of NCOIC, Operations, Tech. Sgt. Reeves has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of more than 320 Defenders. He operates at a level well above his current pay grade, which was evident by his selection for his current position.

"Tech. Sgt. Reeves crafted the operations reorganization plan and was the architect of the current duty schedule for four flights. His efforts maximized personnel and training capabilities and ensured the protection of six billon dollars in vital resources. Finally, Tech. Sgt. Reeves is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice through Kaplan University while simultaneously completing the Senior NCO Professional Military Education Course 14 via Air University.

"His leadership, knowledge and professionalism have earned him the respect of his subordinates, peers and leadership."
