On Monday, Aug. 21, a perfect lineup of the sun, moon and Earth will be visible across North America from coast to coast for the first time in 38 years. This total solar eclipse may be the most viewed eclipse ever.

Locally, the eclipse will start at 9:05 a.m. and reach its maximum at 10:21 a.m. It will be completed at 11:45 a.m. The sun will be approximately 72 percent covered at 10:21.

The 412th Aerospace Medicine Squadron's Optometry Flight wants to make sure Team Edwards personnel and their families enjoy the eclipse safely.
