Tinker Installation Commander, Col. Abby Ruscetta, hosted Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt and City Manager Craig Freeman, 5 March 2024, for an update of critical Team Tinker missions as well as expansion projects.

During the visit, Holt and Freeman met with Air Force Sustainment Center Commander, Lt. Gen. Stacey Hawkins, as well as Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex Commander, Brig. Gen. Brian Moore, to receive updates on sustainment and modernization.

Ms. Stephanie Wilson, Tinker Air Force Base Civil Engineer, discussed current and future construction and expansion projects on the installation to include the KC-46 depot program campus, as well as the future site of the bomber campus that will include modernization and depot maintenance of the B-52 and B-21. Mayor Holt, a former member of the Honorary Commander Program saw first-hand how important community partnership and support are to Team Tinker’s ability to carry out its critical national defense missions.

Tinker has been a community partner to Oklahoma City and surrounding cities for more than 80 years.
