Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Staff Sgt. Mason Phipps works in the 75th Comptroller Squadron in civilian pay within the finance squadron, dealing with a variety of civilian pay issues ensuring civilians get their proper hours paid out to them. He is from Eatonville, Washington, and his hobbies include history, traveling and video gaming.

Mason’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:

"Most pay issues are now handled via email or over the phone, and in this case I have been using my home computer’s skype setup to make calls to people while being hands free and working on my work computer. Facebook messenger, and phone messaging groups are also used a lot in work now as people are encouraged to not go over work in person.”

Mason, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
