Morales Electronic Systems Center Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Attendee registration is now open for the Air Force Information Technology Conference scheduled for Aug. 13-17 at Auburn University's Montgomery, Ala., campus. The AFITC is designed as a forum for the exchange of information between industry and government concerning the latest in information technology. "AFITC is one of the primary tools we have for keeping Air Force personnel abreast of the latest developments in information technology and future technology trends," said Capt. Reginald Williams, AFITC chairman. Themed "Dominating Cyberspace," the conference will feature keynote speakers Gen. T. Michael Moseley, Air Force chief of staff; Gen. Lance Smith, commander of U.S. Joint Forces Command and NATO supreme allied commander for Transformation; Lt. Gen. Michael Peterson, Air Force chief of warfighting integration and chief information officer; John W. Thompson, Symantec CEO; and Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO. More than 100 government and industry seminars, as well as a large exhibit floor with the latest in technology from industry leaders such as Microsoft, Dell, Micron, Gateway, CDW-G, Cisco, Lockheed Martin and GTSI will also be featured.
