Wellness Day Fair

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio (AFMCNS) -- Lt. Col. Lisa Pegues, Air Force Materiel Command Public Health chief, talks with Luchawna Givner, administrative services assistant, during AFMC headquarters' Wingman Wellness Day Fair held Oct. 31. The event -- which was designed to focus on the physical, spiritual, emotional and social facets of wellness -- was part of a headquarters-wide spotlight on Airmen helping Airmen every day of the year. In addition to the fair, individual units throughout AFMC dedicated time to further building professional relationships between co-workers, and focusing on how to best take care of each other through good times and bad. Command wellness survey online through Nov. 14

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- There still is time for Air Force Materiel Command members to let command senior leadership know how their personal wellness is going.

Log onto https://survey.afms.mil/WWS08/survey.htm to take AFMC's anonymous and voluntary wellness survey to give feedback about the four dimensions of wellness: physical, social, emotional and spiritual. The survey takes five to 10 minutes to complete, and there are added comments sections for many of the question.

The survey, first implemented in May 2006, is conducted annually. This year, the survey was activated Oct. 27 and runs through Nov. 14. Results will be shared with the command in February.
