The Aerospace Valley Open House, Air Show and STEM Expo

The Aerospace Valley Open House, Air Show & STEM Expo will be return to California in the near future. The 2022 AVAS was the first open house hosted by Edwards in over 13 years, with weekend attendance of nearly 100,000. In addition to global air show debuts of aircraft and real sonic booms, the event featured the largest STEM exposition in United States Air Force history with attendance by over 200 Southern California area schools during the Friday practice. AVAS also supported a joint USAF/NASA Armstrong “STEM Flyover” event that provided 50+ schools in the Antelope Valley with a real-time math lesson prior to show weekend. As the largest collective employer in the Antelope Valley, we are excited to partner with our local communities to host another record-breaking event in 2025.

The 2022 Aerospace Valley Open House, Air Show & STEM Expo was the proud recipient of three International Council of Air Show awards, including Best Overall Marketing Plan, Pinnacle Award for Best Military Show, and the Dick Scram Memorial Community Relations Award.
