Maintenance Operations Scheduler (Aircraft Subsystems, Aircraft Equipment) NJ-1152-03 Published July 23, 2026 About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Operations Scheduler (Aircraft Subsystems, Aircraft Equipment) NJ-1152-03 to work at the 412th Maintenance Group Maintenance Operations (412 MXG/MXOOS) at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Central agency for scheduling, documentation, management, monitoring, and developing strategies for aerospace vehicles, engines, armament/munitions, missiles, space systems, AGE, and selected equipment inventory. Ensures aerospace vehicles and supporting equipment are managed and documented in accordance with established policy and advises maintenance leadership on fleet health. Location: Edwards AFB, CA 93524 Typical 2026 salary range: $71,957 - $113,185 per year (includes Locality) Travel Requirements: Subject to TDY- approximately 14 days per year Areas of Consideration (AOC): Department – wide (DoD) Desired Skills: - 3 years of experience in aircraft scheduling and documentation. - 3 years of experience using Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) - 3 years of experience using IMDS for Mobility (G081) - 3 years of experience using Office Products Major Duties: Provides dedicated support to Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS)/Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU), attending scheduling meetings, coordinating with Unit supervision and Operational Squadron operations schedulers to meet flying requirements, managing Time Change Technical Orders (TCTOs), Time Change Items (TCIs), to include Cartridge Actuated Devices/Propellant Actuated Devices, Air Crew Flight Equipment, and Special Inspections (SIs) for assigned aircraft and generating Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) Form 103 for aircraft requiring depot maintenance. Maintains and update aircraft jacket files, including maintaining historical documentation of maintenance actions, documenting and tracking historical documentation, developing and maintaining a standardized master aircraft jacket file, listing all historical records in the PS&D's file plan or office of record, and cross-referencing documents decentralized from PS&D to other sections. Develops, coordinates, and publishes an integrated aircraft/system annual and quarterly plan (FIRST LOOK) and monthly and weekly schedules to support maintenance and operational requirements, specifically by coordinating with the Operational Support Squadron’s (OSS's) Current Operations Flight Scheduling and jointly building, coordinating, and consolidating plans. Manages assigned weapon system's TCTO program, which includes monitoring and providing oversight of all AF-owned aircraft, weapon system, AGE, and commodity TCTOs to ensure all compliance requirements are met. Reviews MIS products weekly to ensure proper documentation and management by owning and managing TCTO agencies and informing affected work centers and providing assistance to correct discrepancies. Responsible for completing an annual TCTO status review between MIS and Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) or equivalent systems, and reconciling rescinded TCTOs using a REMIS Master TCTO report or equivalent annually. Provides technical support to performing work centers and briefs the MXG/CC weekly on unaccomplished TCTOs that are within 60 days of grounding.
