Inventory Management Specialist NH-2010-02 Published May 4, 2026 About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a full-time Inventory Management Specialist NH-2010-02 to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Electronic Warfare Group, 772nd Test Squadron (772 TS/EWOX) at Edwards Air Force Base. The Site Support provide support and processes for ground test support services, engineering, operations, maintenance, drafting, safety, environmental compliance, and space allocation. The primary purpose of this position is to perform tasks associated with supply operations and material control support pertaining to specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts requiring unusual degrees of protection in shipment and storage, or other items that are unique to the organization's mission. Announcement Length/Closes: 14 days Location: Edwards, CA (Edwards Air Force Base) Typical 2026 salary range: $47,490 - $113,185 Per Year (includes Locality) Travel Requirements: Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) by military or commercial aircraft approximately 60 days per year. Areas of Consideration (AOC): Installation – wide (Edwards AFB, CA (412th Test Wing)) Desired Skills: - 2 years of experience in database management systems - 2 years of experience in inventory life cycle management of systems and subsystems - 2 years of experience in property/equipment accountability programs Major Duties: - Work independently on assigned tasks. Duties include inventory management control of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) equipment sub-accounts in support of test systems and subsystems. Develop activity plans that identify actions, responsibilities and schedules that must be met to ensure that proper and timely inventory support are provided. - Responsible for tracking movement of equipment between mission control rooms (MCRs) and buildings. Ensure that proper documents are attached and forms are filled out for equipment that is received or shipped. Conduct/assist with inventory of equipment items in MCRs, warehouse, tool room, supply room, and other remote buildings where test assets are located. - Validate inventory results, generate inventory reports, and maintain administrative reports to sustain inventory accuracy program. Monitor and evaluate material usage and customer demand patterns to recommend retail stock levels of mission support. - Provide personnel logistics support in generating purchase requests for supplies and/or equipment required for mission support and test programs. Use automated information technology (IT) capabilities such as databases, systems and computer generated products to perform inventory management duties. Duties also include disposition of equipment and interfacing with Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) and ADPE organizations. - Participate in planning meetings and provides inventory management acquisition solutions, costs, and schedules. Propose or recommend alternate vendors, or change in material use to meet customer's system specifications/requirements. Identify and research materials required for procurement of parts required for mission support. - Perform other duties as necessary to meet organization requirements to promote safe work environment, protection of information and government property.
