Logistics Management Specialist (NH-0346-03) Published March 17, 2026 About the Role: The 412th Maintenance Group is looking for a Full-Time Logistics Management Specialist (NH-0346-03) to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, 412 MXO/MXOPL at Edwards AFB. Serves as a senior logistics management specialist with full responsibility for providing complete logistics planning and support to a broad system, program, or functional area. Announcement Length/Closes: 10 Workdays Location: Edwards AFB, CA Typical 2026 salary range: $104,349 - $161,313 per year (includes Locality) Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel possible Areas of Consideration (AOC): Installation - wide (412 TW) Desired Skills: • Experience with proactively anticipating logistical challenges and identify potential bottlenecks in manpower, equipment, or funding in advance of mission impact. • Proven capability to build effective working relationships and influence partners across DoD and private contractors to negotiate support agreements and achieve collaborative solutions in resource-constrained environments. • Ability to maintain resilience, sound judgment, and composure while balancing competing priorities in a high-stakes test environment, ensuring mission requirements are met with confidence and professionalism. • Experience performing work duties in a classified environment, ensuring compliance with security, technical, and safety requirements. • Willingness and ability to provide off-shift, weekend, or surge support based on mission requirements to ensure continuity of test operations. Major Duties: - Leads and ensures complete logistics planning and support for a broad system, program or functional area. - Develops capability estimates and logistics support planning for assigned area. - Prepares and reviews services and support agreements between the AFTC and contractors, NASA, Air Force, and other DOD agencies. - Manages deployment of MXG resources (aircraft, manpower, equipment, spareparts, etc.) to meet test requirements. - Manages commitment of logistics resources for support of assigned programs/projects and logistics test plans. - Manages acquisition logistics support to production weapons systems and for systems in pre-production phases. - Prepares and presents maintenance briefing material to inform and advise the MXG staff, visitors and higher authorities.
