Production Controller (Aircraft), (NJ-1152-03) Published Feb. 27, 2026 About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Production Controller (Aircraft), (NJ-1152-03) to work at the 412th Maintenance Group, Maintenance Operations Center (412 MXG/MXOOC) at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling resources in support of ground or flight test, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance. TCTOs, and Time Changes. Coordinates with resource owners to update operational status of resources into automated scheduling system and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS). Announcement Length/Closes: 10 calendar days Location: Edwards AFB, CA 93524 Typical 2026 salary range: $71,957 - $113,185per year (includes Locality) Areas of Consideration (AOC): Installation - wide (Edwards Air Force Base) Desired Skills: - 2 years of experience Enhanced Maintenance Operations Center (EMOC). - 2 years of experience using Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). - 2 years of experience using FMxC2 (G081). - 2 years of experience using Office Products desired. - 2 years of experience ordering/tracking/verifying supply parts desired. Major Duties: - Manages the overall real time coordination and integration of the maintenance resources and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions including real time updates to data systems. - Integrates flight line maintenance activities and ensures aircraft, aircraft subsystems and support equipment are assigned to meet mission requirements. - In coordination with production superintendents, establishes priorities such as fuel or calibration docks, ground tests, wash racks, weight and balance, thrust stand, fire department support, In-Flight-emergencies, crash and emergency vehicle coordination, and dispatched specialists. - Maintain aircraft, aircraft subsystems, and support equipment Estimated Time In Commission (ETIC). - Make equipment substitutions on day of mission execution as required to optimize utilization of resources. - Directs, controls, and maintains status of assigned aircraft, aircraft subsystems, and support equipment, physical movement of aircraft and coordinates maintenance schedules and priority changes. - Requests support serviced such as Fire Department, fueling and de-fueling, - Notifies wing safety, command post, and MX commander of aircraft mishaps, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), and injuries to personnel resulting from aircraft, aircraft subsystems, and support equipment maintenance. Qualifications/Requirements: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security clearance - Must be willing to work irregular shifts (nights, weekends) and overtime may be required. - Knowledge and experience in the operations and scheduling of aircraft/engine resources, scheduled and unscheduled aircraft/engine maintenance requirements, flight line aircraft/engine maintenance activities, and data collection systems. - Knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) including but not limited to Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), Enhanced Maintenance Operations Center (EMOC), and G081. - Ability to interpret terminology, technical data, standards, and instructions and use this information to provide updates for data systems as required. - Ability to prioritize competing requests for limited resources. ***Resumes limited to two pages.
