Materials Handler, (Tool and Parts Attendant WG-6907-06) Published Nov. 19, 2025 About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Materials Handler, (Tool and Parts Attendant. WG-6907-06) to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, 412th Maintenance Squadron, Fabrication Flight / Logistics Support Section (MXMFL) at Edwards AFB. The primary purpose of this position is to perform administrative and technical work in support of aircraft maintenance in the organizational logistics support section. Operating the HazMat pharmacy and tool room; to control CTKs, T.O.s, benchstock, HazMat, equipment, TMDE, vehicles, and production control. Support T-2 Modification work in acquiring unique materials, parts and chemicals. Major Duties: Issue, receive and store tools, hazmat, and equipment. Complete benchstock items inspections and replenish as necessary. Perform inventories using bar code wands, Laser scanning equipment labeling equipment. Perform in-depth inspections of consolidated tool kits, (CTKs). Maintains catalogs, technical orders and initiates supply actions. Maintains good housekeeping to ensure clean safe work areas. Qualifications/Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a government driver’s license. This is a designated Drug Testing Position. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical. Ability to receive, store, issue and inventory HazMat/waste, parts, tools and/or equipment. Maintain records using automated and/or mechanized systems without more than normal supervision.
