Supervisor, Plans, Scheduling & Documentation Published Aug. 18, 2025 Air Force Test Center About the Role: The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supervisor, Plans, Scheduling and Documentation (NJ-1152-04) to work at the 412th Maintenance Group Maintenance Operations (412 MXG/MXO) at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, direction, organization, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to Plans, Scheduling & Documentation Element. This position is responsible for supervising very complex products including the planning, coordinating, and scheduling of resources in support of ground or flight test, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), and Time Changes. Provides a responsible and continuing focal point for coordinating and scheduling of aircraft, inspections, and technical support from contractors, tenants, and/or other government agencies required for the accomplishment of all 412 TW test missions. As supervisor, manages workload requirements and executes/recommends personnel management actions to include annual appraisals and provides direction and supervision to subordinate personnel. Responsible for the advance planning and/or immediate production control for the manufacture, construction, overhaul and repair of a variety of unique system platforms. Prepares and participates in wing quarterly, monthly, weekly utilization and maintenance schedules. Serves as supervisor over MXG Plans and Scheduling Section. Manages and assigns work to be accomplished, set priorities, establishing training plans and monitors and adjusts workload to meet mission requirements. Serves as Senior Scheduler for MXG, evaluates performance of other workcenters performing scheduling functions on a quarterly basis. Qualifications/Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Security clearance Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the operations, capabilities, limitations, maintenance, and scheduling of conventional and experimental aircraft/engines. Advanced knowledge of the following: maintenance operations software, scheduling software, applicable business rules, scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance requirements, flight line aircraft maintenance activities used to optimize resource utilization. In-depth knowledge and skill associated with the application of Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) and the IMDS for Mobility (G081) information systems. Ability to interpret terminology, technical data, standards and instructions, and to relate them properly to the particular control projects assigned in preparing production plans and schedules and in maintaining effective follow-up.
