Jarrod Boggs is a cruise missile jet engine mechanic in the 546th Propulsion Maintenance Squadron. The Midwest City, Oklahoma, native has seven years of federal service.

In his spare time, Boggs enjoys working on and repairing automobiles and taking care of his family.

As a mechanic, Boggs is responsible for disassembling and assembling F107 cruise missile engines, cleaning and inspecting engine parts and pressure checking #2 nozzles, interstage housings and diffusers. Boggs’ supervisor says he is instrumental to the Overhaul shop and is enthusiastic in learning all tasks. He volunteered to serve as the chemical monitor and is eager to accept any and all challenges that come his way.

Boggs said the best part of his job is being part of a 5-star Voluntary Protection Program safety award and working with his co-workers.
