Job Title: Autonomy Engineer
Congratulations to Alex Zaleski, the 412th Test Wing’s Warrior of the Week. Zaleski is assigned to the Emerging Technologies Combined Test Force as an autonomy engineer. At the CTF he's part of a team that explores agile, innovative flight test capabilities, to expand the Air Force's warfighting arsenal of tomorrow. Current focuses are on the use of small unmanned aerial systems for testing and operational use, and on autonomous systems development and use. Zaleski was previously assigned to the 416th and 461st Flight Test Squadrons doing work on F-16s and F-35s respectively. He has a mechanical engineering degree from BYU-Idaho and is looking forward to completing a master's degree and to continue working on "awesome projects."
