EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --

Member: Staff Sgt. Sylvester Dukes

Unit: 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron

Job Title: Bomber Suitability Evaluator

Career Goal: “To see a new system through the acquisition process and later maintain that system, knowing I was an integral part of the process.”

Congratulations to Staff Sgt. Sylvester Dukes, the 412th Test Wing’s Warrior of the Week. Dukes was recently sought out by the 912th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron’s B-2 stealth bomber maintenance superintendent for his communication and navigation expertise. The weapon system required the removal and installation of a radar antenna, which for the B-2 is a rare and complex task. He guided the maintenance team through the process helping them avoid logistical pitfalls he had seen in his years of prior experience at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.

Thank you Staff Sgt. Sylvester Dukes for being instrumental in the 412th Test Wing mission. Great job Test Warrior!
