WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OH -- The 20-year-old Legacy EZ Source application has been updated with a modernized user interface and a new home in the cloud.
Per the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) MP5315.3, EZ Source is mandated for all unclassified competitive acquisitions valued at $100M or more, or have been designated as high visibility, to standardize the process and communication of source selection evaluation data. EZ Source is utilized in all Major Air Commands (MAJCOMs) across 32 bases (Air Force and Defense Health Agency wide), supporting an estimated $239B+ in acquisitions.
Teams that have used EZ Source in the past will notice an automated DD2875 process, an enhanced process flow, and a simplified user interface. There are also advanced member security controls and procedural source selection information validation.
Continuous updates are seamlessly rolled out monthly, adding improved functionality and user enhancements to the application. EZ Source Focal Points provide input on the priorities, confirming the right updates are added to the system at the right time.
