Like a Ninja
Senior Airman Ryan Chong (left) and Airman Pearley Shanley, both with the 412th Communications Squadron, tackle the final obstacle during the “Ninja Obstacle Course” The event was organized as part of a series of events to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. About 50 people showed up for the event, competing in teams. The course was held on the desert running track behind the base gym here. Some of the obstacles, like pull-ups and a climbing wall, were already in place. But the organizers added some special obstacles, like hula-hooping, to give participants an extra challenge.
