Team Edwards,

In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed a bill establishing Nov. 11 as a day to honor American veterans of all wars, otherwise known as Veterans Day. He proclaimed, "I do hereby call upon all of our citizens to observe Nov. 11 as Veterans Day. On that day let us solemnly remember the sacrifices of all those who fought so valiantly, on the seas, in the air, and on foreign shores, to preserve our heritage of freedom, and let us reconsecrate ourselves to the task of promoting an enduring peace so that their efforts shall not have been in vain."

On this Veterans Day, we salute all generations of America's veterans and their families. May we solemnly remember their sacrifices. May we thank them for preserving our heritage of freedom. May we recognize that we are all standing on the shoulders of giants as we serve today.

I am honored to work alongside you all at The Center of the Aerospace Testing Universe, as we reconsecrate ourselves to the task of promoting an enduring peace so that their sacrifices shall have not been in vain. Thank you for answering your nation's call to follow in their sacred footsteps as we strive together for the warfighter!

Happy Veterans Day!
