EDWARDS SOFTBALL Champions
The 412th Maintenance Squadron's AMMO softball team is this year's Edwards intramural softball champions. They advanced to the championship game by defeating the 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron in the losers bracket and then beating last year's intramural softball champion, the 95th Medical Group, Aug. 16. Paul Padilla, left, stands next to his pilot, Tim Taylor. Mr. Taylor flew out of Edwards and picked up 14-year-old Paul at Mariposa-Yosemite Airport in Northern California. Paul was attending a camp for the deaf and Mr. Taylor, who is a command pilot for Angel Flight West, volunteered to pick him up and bring him back to his home in Hesperia, Calif.
