One hundred fifty-eight animals, ranging from goats and pigs to zebras and camels, reside at the Animal Education Center at Windswept Ranch on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road. The Edwards Sonic Splash Pool is one of nine facilities featured on the Air Force Material Command sponsored program, “Take a Trek Thru Outdoor Rec.” Participants pick up a treasure map from Outdoor Recreation and travel to different ODR facilities on base for a chance to win the grand prize, which is a $500 95th Force Support Squadron gift card.
