Since January 2010, 10 retired sailors travel to Edwards for one week each month to re-fabricate the aircraft, replace parts of the cockpit and eventually re-paint the exterior. Lighting the way

Col. Gregory Schwab, 95th Air Base Wing commander, along with Civil Engineering Division and Edwards dorm residents cut the ribbon symbolizing the reopening of the basketball and volleyball courts behind the Joshua Inn Dining Facility here Feb. 4. Colonel Schwab sent out a survey to Airmen to ask them why they didn’t use the courts. Based on their suggestions, he had the courts cleaned and lights installed around the basketball court.
