Anny, a snow leopard, waits for her afternoon meal to be delivered. She is one of a dozen endangered felines on display at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound's Feline Conservation Center in Rosamond, Calif. The zoo has over 70 endangered cats and is known for its work in breeding endangered species of felines. The center is open to the public every day except Wednesday. Two Northern Chinese leopards enjoy the shade in their enclosure at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound's Feline Conservation Center in Rosamond, Calif. The natural-habitat cages offer close-up viewing of some of the world's rarest cats. The center is 25 minutes from Edwards' West Gate and is a world renowned facility for breeding endangered cats. Since January 2010, 10 retired sailors travel to Edwards for one week each month to re-fabricate the aircraft, replace parts of the cockpit and eventually re-paint the exterior. Lighting the way

Col. Gregory Schwab, 95th Air Base Wing commander, along with Civil Engineering Division and Edwards dorm residents cut the ribbon symbolizing the reopening of the basketball and volleyball courts behind the Joshua Inn Dining Facility here Feb. 4. Colonel Schwab sent out a survey to Airmen to ask them why they didn’t use the courts. Based on their suggestions, he had the courts cleaned and lights installed around the basketball court.
