Marines with the Heavy Helicopter Squadron 769 gather at Hangar 1210 for the squadron's deactivation ceremony here Aug. 2. The squadron was responsible for CH-53E Super Stallion transport helicopters. The HMH 769 was activated as Helicopter Transport Squadron 769 on April 15, 1958.
