C-5M undergoes ‘super’ upgrade at Edwards

Edwards test team extends KC-135 capabilities

This KC-10 was just one of the many airframes that were used to test the KC-135 Block 45 systems upgrades in order to mitigate capability gaps and improve overall KC-135 shortcomings in reliability, maintainability and supportability. F-35 AIM

The Joint Strike Fighter began the integration phase of weapons testing Oct. 26 when the F-35A Conventional Takeoff and Landing (CTOL) aircraft successfully completed the first in-flight test with an AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile.
