10/10/2012 - EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Edwards's civilian employees are eligible to receive financial reimbursement for the costs associated with mandatory and occupationally required professional credentials. Primary consideration will be given to those individuals with a mandatory requirement for a license/certification.

Payment will be made on a reimbursement basis (employee pays first, must show proof that they passed the license/certification exam, and is then reimbursed by their organization). If organizational funds are not available, please contact the Education and Training Center to request the use of O & M funds.

Written approval must be received prior to the examination or issuance of the license or certification (e-mail, memo, etc.). Approval will remain at the organizational level, unless Education and Training O & M funds are requested.

For Bargaining Unit Employees any labor agreements must be adhered to and if there are any BUE questions, please consult with the Labor Relations Office, or your Human Resource Specialist.

For additional information, please contact our Education and Training POC Debbie Drake at (661) 277-9745.
