When did you join the Air Force? May 24, 2000
Why did you join the Air Force? I joined the Air Force to gain vital law enforcement skills and experience. I wanted to complete college and have the opportunity to travel across the world.
What do you like most about your job? I enjoy having the opportunity to provide a safe environment for the people who work and reside on Edwards AFB.
What is your favorite thing to do around the area? My favorite thing to do in the area is spend time with my family. My family and I enjoy getting out and experiencing many of the unique opportunities that California has to offer.
Warrior Highlights: "Since assuming the position of NCOIC of Security Forces Investigations, Tech. Sgt. Baker has brought an unparalleled level of dedication to the section. Baker's tireless work ethic is instrumental in ensuring the safety of Edward AFB resources, especially our most important resource, our people. He possesses strong leadership traits that allow him to maintain focus during high stress situations and rapidly evolving incidents. He exemplifies maturity and selflessness in all aspects of his duty. His direct leadership is responsible for an outstanding 94% criminal case solve rate. As a NCOIC of Security Forces Investigations, Baker conducts criminal investigations within local jurisdictional boundaries and analyzes details to determine appropriate courses of action. He processes crime scenes and preserves evidential property, maintaining chain of custody for future court cases. Tech. Sgt. Baker interviews witnesses of crimes and interrogates suspects to garner valuable leads and confessions. Additionally, he is pursuing his Master of Arts in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Military University."
