412th AMXS brings 'Howlin' Dawg' to Center of Excellence
The Center of Excellence's new "Howlin' Dawg" room features new paint, decorations, graphics, furniture and study materials for local students. The room's renovation was performed by the 412th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here. The Howlin' Dawg room will be used for tutoring and mentoring students from Desert High School, North Edwards High School and Boron High School. 412th AMXS brings 'Howlin' Dawg' to Center of Excellence
Before renovation, the "Howlin' Dawg" room at the Center of Excellence was an empty classroom with holes in the walls, dilapidated paint and water-stained windows. The 412th Aircraft Maintinence Squadron spent two months and 1,000 volunteer hours transforming the room into a place suitable for local students. (Courtesy photo)
