Hispanic Heritage Month got a rhythmic start at the Base Exchange Sept. 15 with guest dancers from the Ballet Folklorico Etzatlan from Littlerock, California. The group did a variety of Mexican folk dances representing the states of Jalisco, Veracruz, and Chiapas.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated every year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, and this year's theme is "Hispanic Americans: Energizing Our Nation's Diversity."

The planning committee also shared cake, donated by the Exchange with anyone who wished to join in the celebration.
