For 2 July, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest confirmed cases include a member from AFLCMC in B201, three 552 ACW members (B215, B255, B282) and three OC-ALC members (B2121, B2283, B9502). Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

Due to the holiday weekend and following family day, there will be no morning update Friday, 3 July or Monday, 6 July.

On Wednesday, 8 July at 3:30 p.m., the African American Heritage Council, Community Action Team and 552 Integrated Resilience Manager will be hosting a dialogue on race at the Tinker Auditorium. All base personnel (military, civilian, contractors, families and retirees) are invited to attend. AFMC has launched their spark tank competition, running 1 July thru 3 August and is open to all uniformed and civilian AFMC Airmen. Submitted ideas should have the potential to make significant impacts on Air Force missions within a 6-month to two-year time frame.
