Tinker Frontlines: Meet Marcel Jacques

Marcel Jacques is the Drug Demand Reduction Program manager with the 72nd Air Base Wing. He came to Tinker in 2009 as an Air Force Reserve recruiter, before retiring in 2014 and assuming his role in the DDRP office.

In his spare time, Jacques loves to hang out with his family, ride his motorcycle and do home projects.

Jacques’ favorite part of his job is meeting new individuals daily, instructing individuals on the DDRP process and assisting commanders to ensure we have a drug-free Air Force.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the DDRP has had to decrease the number of individuals being tested daily and assigned squadrons time frames to send their individuals in for testing to maintain social distancing. They have added safety precautions and wipe down everything that the patient touches after completing their testing, which has increased the testing time and affects the number of patients they are able to see on a daily basis.
