Server migration actions slated for March 27-28 will affect accessibility for Air Force Personnel Center secure applications, AFPC officials said Mar.26.

The migration was delayed a day to ensure all Airmen eligible for the Temporary Early Retirement Authority voluntary force management program would have the entire application window to apply. AFPC will continue to process all of the voluntary separation packages during this brief migration period, officials said.

Affected system applications will be unavailable March 27, 5:30 a.m., through March 28, 4 p.m. Affected applications include Case Management System, Virtual Military Personnel Flight, Virtual Enlisted Promotion Release Web, Personnel Records Display Application, Assignment Management System, Automated Records Management System, Base Level Service Delivery Model, Retrieval Applications Web and MilPDS Print View.

Airmen who need to review and update records, submit a statement of intent for command consideration, apply for developmental education opportunities and other personnel actions may experience a short delay until all systems are accessible, said Josephine Keys, Air Force Personnel Operations Agency.

During the outage, Airmen will be able to contact the Total Force Service Center, in the event of an urgent need, she said.

Although the myPers website is not expected to be affected, according to Keys, users may be unable to access some areas.

"If users try to access one of the affected applications via myPers, the application will be unavailable," Keys said. "For example, if a user goes into myPers and selects an article that points back to the Employee Benefits Information System for information, EBIS access will be unavailable, because it is behind AFPC Secure."
