The Air Force Culture and Language Center is now accepting applications for the spring 2014 session of "Introduction to Culture."

The ITC course is entirely online, self-paced and is offered at no charge to enlisted active duty Airmen, Air Force reservists or Air National guardsmen enrolled in Community College of the Air Force programs. The course fulfills three resident hours of either social science or program elective credit required for CCAF degrees.

Although enrollment is scheduled through March 19, course managers encourage participants to sign up as soon as possible. When the course is full, enrollment will end -- and that may be well before March 19.

"In some cases, we have had to shut off enrollment as early as two or three days into the window," said Olin Goodhue, the AFCLC's chief of education support. "Airmen are very eager to take our classes, and when the classes are full, they're full."

In addition to ITC, the center also offers "Introduction to Cross-Cultural Communication." The summer 2014 session of CCC begins enrollment April 10. This course is also free, online and self-paced, and fulfills three resident hours of either social science or program elective credit for CCAF degrees.

More information on ITC and CCC, including enrollment directions and frequently asked questions, are available on the AFCLC's website under the "Courses" tab.
