  • Published
The Air Force has established a new office to focus on the future of the Expeditionary Air and Space Force. The Special Assistant for Expeditionary Air and Space Force will review, clarify, and publish EAF policy and guidance.

The office will work along with the AEF center at Langley AFB, Vir. and Air Force major commands to analyze and advocate for the EAF construct, educate people on how the EAF works, and work long-term policy recommendations.

Some of the current issues facing the new office include the Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) rotation policy, structure and stressed career fields in AEF, evaluating the AEF leader concept and presentation of AEF Forces.
